buffered lanes in the Portland area:
these lanes are coming soon!
removed parking to add their buffered bike lanes on Division St. east
Connecting lents to the Springwater corridor, 101st Ave south of
Rd. features buffered lanes.
eastbound Hawthorne Bridge viaduct includes an extra wide buffer,
to protect people on bicycles from fast moving automobiles headed south
on MLK Jr Blvd.
Downtown streets Stark and Oak have experimental
buffered lane designs to provide people on bikes a safe east to west
to a buffered bike lane, a cycle track at PSU provides
even more separation from moving vehicles.
